The Department of Agriculture- Bureau of Animal Industry (DA-BAI) and
Merial Philippines have donated to Barangay Ususan and the City of
Taguig animal rabies vaccines for approximately 600 animals.
The first 300 pets from Barangay Ususan will be vaccinated this
September 20, 2008, Saturday, in the Ususan Barangay Hall.
The second 300 pets to be vaccinated will be from Barangay Ususan and
other Taguig barangays who will participate at the Pet Parade on
September 28, 2008, Sunday, at 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
The Department of Health (DoH), Sanofi Pasteur and Novartis will be
donating human rabies pre-exposure vaccines for approximately 100
impounding personnel and law enforcers from Taguig to be administered
also on September 28, 2008.
Partners for the World Rabies Day event are: City of Taguig,
Bonifacio High Street, Hobbes & Landes, Merial Philippines, Sanofi-
Pasteur, New Market Link, Novartis, Royal Canin, Alpo, RFM, Krispy
Kreme and Nestea.
